2nd Oil Spill In Gulf Of Mexico 2010? There could be a second oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico at a separate oil rig. This oil rig isn't owned by BP, but still adds to the calamity caused by the BP oil spill. This time, the leaking well is the Ocean Saratoga rig, which is operated by a privately owned gas & oil company -- Taylor Energy.

The 2nd oil spill is a spawn of the first. The pipe that is spewing oil goes under the sea floor a ways, and the pipe has ruptures on the sides of it. When they put that? half ass cap on it, the oil started squirting out of the sides of these cracks in the pipe. It seeps through the soil and comes up in other places. (That's what I heard.)
